About The Position

This is a Medical Assistant/Patient Services Representative (MA/PSR) role requiring front- and back-office experience. The Medical Assistant will chaperone high-profile patients through all aspects of medical care, including enrollment, check-in, payment, imaging, and provider visits. Experience with high-end sales or high-profile clientele is strongly preferred. Floating is required. Weekend work is not required. No scheduling requests can be accommodated.

Requirements

• Three years of outpatient clinic experience.
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) only.
• Flu vaccination; exemptions and declinations are not accepted.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current experience with check-in, checkout, and registration.
• Experience with HMO/PPO insurance.
• Experience handling a high volume of calls.
• Experience with room turnover.
• Venipuncture expertise.
• Experience with Epic.
• Front- and back-office experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with high-end sales or high-profile clientele.
