About The Position
QualDerm Partners is looking for a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Blaine, MN team on a regular part-time basis. Requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology-related practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and support.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Schedule appointments and assist with office communication as needed.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
