Medical Assistant - ENT
About The Position
The Medical Assistant assists providers and the nursing team in delivering professional medical care. The role includes pre-visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, using the EMR system, scanning and downloading documents, administering injections, coordinating vaccines, telephone screening using protocols, and assisting with procedures as needed. Additional duties are assigned based on clinic needs. The incumbent must maintain excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor. The role may also cover front-office duties as needed and may require some travel within the Metro area.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
