About The Position

The IMA Group is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional medical assessments and evaluations. The position involves supporting healthcare professionals with patient care and medical evaluations, preparing patients for exams by taking vital signs and medical histories, performing routine clinical procedures, maintaining accurate records, and handling patient inquiries. The Medical Assistant will also be responsible for keeping medical equipment and supplies organized and ready.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Healthcare experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, detail-oriented approach

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant program a plus
• MA certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Support healthcare professionals with patient care and medical evaluations
• Prepare patients for exams — vital signs, medical histories
• Perform routine clinical procedures (phlebotomy, EKGs, and more)
• Maintain accurate records and handle patient inquiries
• Keep medical equipment and supplies organized and ready
