About The Position

Our Prairie du Chien Family Medicine team is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join us in delivering exceptional care. This role is .8 FTE, 64 hours bi-weekly, Monday - Friday, Days (no weekends or holidays!).

Requirements

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN
• Or High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
• BLS for healthcare worker
• Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Love + Medicine by welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism
• Update patient records and charting systems accurately
• Take and record vital signs to support high-quality care
• Assist with procedures and virtual visits
