The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting a professional, patient-centered clinic environment while helping maintain smooth patient access, clinic flow, and communication between patients, providers, and care teams. This role assists with both clinical and non-clinical responsibilities to ensure patients are prepared for appointments, procedures, testing, and follow-up care. The Medical Assistant II works collaboratively with physicians, staff, patients, referring offices, and internal Hoag teams to help ensure appropriate records are received, required testing is completed, and patients are kept informed on the timing and status of care-related needs. This position may support multiple locations and may be required to start at different clinic sites throughout the workweek.
