About The Position

The Medical Assistant works at UW Health Charles St Clinic, located at 2404 Charles St. The schedule is 100% FTE, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role requires professional experience in a clinic setting as a preferred qualification, computer experience, and specified certifications and training. Laboratory and phlebotomy training, drug and alcohol screening, N95 training, and audiometry certification must be completed within 30 days of hire where indicated. The employee must maintain an active RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT certification. Requirements

Graduated from an accredited associate degree program or Medical Assistant program, or have at least two years of relevant experience.
Laboratory and phlebotomy training required within 30 days of hire.
Drug and alcohol screening, and N95 training required within 30 days of hire.
Must provide a copy of a high school diploma or equivalent, or the highest level of completed degree obtained.
Computer experience required.
RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
Basic Life Support/CPR certification required.
Audiometry certification through Northern Illinois University or Health Conservation, Inc. (HCI), required within 30 days of hire.
