About The Position

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practices, is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Morristown office. This role involves welcoming patients, preparing them for appointments, assisting providers during examinations and procedures, managing laboratory specimens, maintaining sterile instruments, educating patients, documenting patient information, and ensuring medical supplies and equipment are in order. Upholding patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance are critical.

Requirements

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification such as CMA or RMA
Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification, or Five (5) years of continuous experience working as a Medical Assistant will be considered.
Strong patient service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience

Nice To Haves

Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Responsibilities

Welcome patients in person or by phone; respond to or route inquiries appropriately
Prepare patients for appointments by directing or accompanying them to exam rooms
Verify and record patient information, including medical history and reason for visit
Assist providers during examinations and procedures
Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic in‑office lab testing
Maintain sterile instruments and properly dispose of contaminated supplies
Educate patients on medications and provide instructions as directed
Accurately document examinations, treatments, and test results
Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly
Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
