About The Position

Work as a medical assistant in Plastic Surgery at UW Health, a leading academic medical center. Join a team of plastic surgeons providing a full spectrum of plastic surgery services. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examination, assisting with treatments, office procedures, Botox injections, and facial filler injections. You will also promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and patient education.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or Licensure as an LPN or Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or an Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program or Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee or Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated or One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification
• Certified as MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within 1 Year
• Licensure as an LPN Upon Hire
• If applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure, must have current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification Upon Hire
• CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN
