MA - Medical Assistant
About The Position
The Medical Assistant will assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. This role involves assisting with physician-ordered treatments under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse, performing select clinical duties, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information on patients' charts. The Medical Assistant will also prepare treatment rooms, perform basic clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, and filing, and handle basic materials management functions including ordering and stocking supplies, and assisting with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Medical Assistant preferred.
Responsibilities
