Medical Assistant - MA
About The Position
The Medical Assistant will assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. This role involves assisting with physician-ordered treatments under supervision, performing select clinical duties, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information. Responsibilities also include preparing treatment rooms, performing basic clerical duties such as answering phones and maintaining records, and basic materials management including ordering and stocking supplies. The Medical Assistant will also assist in maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities
