About The Position
Join our primary care team as a full-time Medical Assistant! Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives while advancing your career in healthcare? Our Primary Care practice is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our compassionate, high-performing team. This position is full time (.9 FTE), 72 hours/bi-weekly, Monday - Friday, Day Shifts. No weekend or holiday hours are required. This role offers no weekends or holidays, a team-first culture, hands-on experience assisting with procedures and virtual visits, a growth-friendly environment, and mission-driven work.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN
- Or High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
- BLS for healthcare workers
Responsibilities
- Update patient information in charting systems
- Take vitals
- Get hands on experience working on procedures with nurses and providers
- Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.
- This position requires working with in person appointments as well as virtual appointments
