Medical Assistant- Pain
About The Position
Bone and Joint is hiring a Medical Assistant to join its Pain Management team. The role works with interventional providers in a fast-paced clinical environment to help improve patients’ lives. Training is provided, with routine check-ins to support learning. The Medical Assistant primarily rooms patients, takes vital signs and health histories, reports relevant information to the treating provider, and assists with the plan of care. Bone and Joint describes itself as an independent organization with orthopedic, pain management, podiatric, physical therapy, and occupational therapy experts and locations throughout Central Wisconsin.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
- Previous experience or education in Medical Assisting is required.
- Computer skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Room patients.
- Take patients’ vital signs and health histories.
- Provide concise reports to the treating provider.
- Assist with the plan of care.
