Medical Assistant Keystone Internal Medicine - Waynesboro Full-Time | Monday-Friday| No Weekends or Holiday Keystone Internal Medicine - Waynesboro is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. As a fast-paced and expanding Community Health Center, we are committed to improving the health and wellness of our community and are looking for a compassionate, organized professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will support patient care and office operations through a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Requirements
- Previous medical office or nursing support experience
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required
- CPR Certification required
Nice To Haves
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Managing patient phone calls
- Requesting medical records for new patients
- Tracking referrals
- Monitoring laboratory results and diagnoses
- Obtaining medication prior authorizations
- Assisting nursing staff as needed
