About The Position

This role is for a Medical Assistant in a high-volume outpatient clinic setting. The position requires a Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program and at least 2 years of experience. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for drawing blood from patients, with an expectation of handling 1-5 vials per patient in a clinic that sees over 100 patients per day with 15 providers. The role also involves floating to different locations as needed.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Epic Experience.
• Recent experience/expertise with venipuncture.

Responsibilities

• Draw 1-5 vials of blood from every patient.
• Work in a high-volume clinic environment (100+ patients per day/15 providers).
• Float to different locations as required.
