About The Position

Our Dermatology clinic located in Ann Arbor Michigan is looking for a Full Time Medical Assistant to join our practice. Not only will you get exposure to both medical and cosmetic procedures, but you will be joining an amazingly wonderful team. Will sometimes travel to our Dexter, Brighton, Canton, or Livonia locations as needed. Assists physicians or licensed healthcare practitioners in ensuring a smooth patient care experience and outstanding service to patients seeking skin, hair, nail and cosmetic medical services.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing the rooms
• Pulling and maintaining charts
• Verifying documents
• Ensuring timely service
• Greeting patients
• Obtaining and documenting patient information
• Accompanying and/or assisting the providers with procedures
• Communicating with patients, providers and other staff members
• Updating the electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Performing cleaning, sterilizing, organizing and inventory tasks
