About The Position
We serve the Metro Nashville Public Schools teacher and staff population. This is a blended role that combines front desk and medical assistant duties. Job scope to include providing service to patients and providers during patient check-in/out, scheduling appointments, inbound and outbound phone calls, capturing messages, obtaining patient intake and vitals, venipuncture, and administering vaccines.
Requirements
- MA certification recognized by Vanderbilt Health (AMT, AAMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP)
- Can sit for exam if they have 12 months of patient care experience
- Consideration may be given to candidates that can obtain certification within 120 days, in accordance with state guidelines
- Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
- Less than 1 year of relevant work experience
