About The Position

This role serves the Metro Nashville Public Schools teacher and staff population, combining front desk and medical assistant duties. The position involves patient check-in/out, scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, taking patient intake and vitals, venipuncture, and administering vaccines.

Requirements

• MA certification recognized by Vanderbilt Health (AMT, AAMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP)
• Consideration may be given to candidates that can obtain certification within 120 days
• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience

Nice To Haves

• 12 months of patient care experience (for NHA certification eligibility)

• Providing service to patients and providers during patient check-in/out
