About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in San Jose and Union City. This role functions as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model. Clinic staff are on-site full time. Our clinical assistants play a key role in supporting providers and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This is not a fast-paced hospital or urgent care environment. Our clinical assistants work in structured clinic settings focused on preventive care for seniors. We emphasize quality patient care, consistency and predictable scheduling, team-based care environments, administrative and logistical support, and mission-driven healthcare delivery.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of medical assistant experience preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registration preferred
- Experience working with senior populations preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits
- Support patient intake and basic documentation
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
- Assist with equipment setup and patient flow
- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
