Assist physicians with medical procedures in office. Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. One year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician's office with venipuncture ability is necessary. The position involves critical thinking, strong interpersonal and communication skills, customer service orientation, and self-management abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems is required. The role may involve travel to other clinic locations and requires adherence to all federal and state laws, regulations, and company policies, including maintaining patient confidentiality. The Medical Assistant will also assist in training new employees and may be required to work at any AON location or overtime as needed.
