About The Position

Maine Family Planning is seeking a Medical Assistant to work 3 days a week (22.50 hours a week) at our Ellsworth clinic. The Medical Assistant assists family planning providers in the delivery of administrative and clinical duties under the supervision of the Nurse Practitioner as required by the State of Maine. Candidate must be able to work in a team environment. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor are required. Follows Maine Family Planning policies and clinical protocols.

Requirements

1-2 years working in social/health services.
Ability to be organized, manage systems, computer skills.
Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA and CLIA guidelines
Experience working with electronic medical records.
Commitment to family planning mission

Nice To Haves

Certification from a Medical Assistant Training Program preferred.
