About The Position
We're seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a busy outpatient practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who enjoys providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
- Previous Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting
- 1+ year of experience taking vital signs
- 2+ years of medical terminology experience
- 1+ year of NextGen EMR experience (required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited MA program preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits and minor procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs
- Accurately chart patient information using NextGen EMR
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Support both clinical and administrative office operations
