Requirements

• CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) required
• CPR certification required
• Phlebotomy

Nice To Haves

• 2 years or more of clinic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during cancer screenings on mobile clinics.
• Coordinate with Patient Navigator to successfully hand off participants with abnormal findings.
• Provide participants with normal results while maintaining accurate documentation and records in all charting systems.
• Assist with on-site participant registration of screenings participants.
• Reporting and evaluation of patient navigation programs including but not limited to the breast and cervical programs for both Louisiana and Mississippi.
• Maintain current knowledge of cancer screening guidelines, cancer prevention strategies, and cancer risk factors for the six types of cancer screened through the program. Complete a minimum of four (4) hours of relevant continuing education.
