About The Position

The Medical Assistant (MA) in Primary Care Family Medicine will greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, and document vital signs, allergies, medications, and the reason for their office visit. This role also provides front office support as needed and performs basic vitals like BP, height, and weight. Phlebotomy and injections may also be required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
One year of work experience required

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
