About The Position

The CERTIFIED Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This is a Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week position, with floating when needed and mileage reimbursement offered. Certification is required at hire.

Requirements

High School Diploma OR equivalency required
Must have one of the following on the first day of employment: Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified EMT (EMT-B)
BLS within 90 days of hire date
Less than a year of related experience required
Phlebotomy experience highly preferred
