This Full-Time, Days opportunity is for an experienced Medical Assistant at the Baptist Heart Specialists office in Jacksonville Beach, FL, working Monday through Friday. The role involves performing back-office duties such as rooming patients and administering EKGs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides medical assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
