About The Position

Make a Bigger Impact as a Medical Assistant—Out in the Community. This is a field-based, statewide travel role where you will visit patients in their homes, not exam rooms, focusing on preventive care like Annual Wellness Visits (Medicare) and Well-Child Visits. You will build meaningful patient relationships with unrushed visits, support seniors and families in their homes, and document visits using modern EMR tools. This role offers the opportunity to help seniors stay healthier and independent by bringing preventive healthcare directly to their homes, identifying health concerns early, and improving access to care for communities across Alabama and surrounding areas. You'll thrive if you enjoy working independently, prefer being on the road instead of in a clinic, are comfortable with statewide travel-based field work, and want meaningful, patient-focused work with a clear purpose.

Requirements

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
• CMA, RMA, or equivalent Medical Assistant credential
• 6+ months of primary care or internal medicine experience
• Comfortable traveling daily to patient homes
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Open to statewide travel throughout Alabama as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience conducting Annual Wellness Visits
• Experience conducting Well-Child Visits
