About The Position

The Medical Assistant provides nursing assistance and patient care to support patients’ comfort, safety, and personal needs. The role assists physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting and performs patient care duties as delegated by a physician within a multidisciplinary patient care team. Specific duties are determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff, and Practice Coordinator after competency is established. The scheduled work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are no weekend or on-call requirements.
Requirements
- One year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
