Maria de los Santos Women's Health Center is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join their team. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
- Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant Program REQUIRED
- CPR and BLS Certification REQUIRED
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of care team and other colleagues
- A positive attitude
- Remain in accordance with HIPAA
- Ability to use good reasoning and judgment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a medical office setting PREFERRED
- Bilingual in Spanish PREFERRED
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients
- Checking patients in/out
- Scheduling appointments
- Handling high call volume
- Assisting with procedures
- Performing phlebotomy
- Performing other basic medical assistant duties as requested by the Providers, Team Leaders, or Health Center Manager
- Providing upstanding care and respect to patients
