Medical Assistant (Orthopedics- Float)
About The Position
Wake Orthopedics, a multi-specialty orthopaedic group with multiple locations in Wake County, NC, is seeking a Medical Assistant to fill a full-time position in their Cary office location. This position will float in the Cary region, covering Cary, Morrisville, Apex, and Fuquay Varina. The practice offers a unique work environment that promotes personal and professional growth and provides the highest quality care for pediatric and adult patients. Their services include advanced diagnostic imaging, innovative treatment options, minimally invasive and traditional procedures, and rehabilitation services, with a goal to help patients return to their desired activities.
Requirements
- CMA or RMA within 12 months of hire.
- High school diploma required.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers in providing quality medical care.
- Meet and greet patients while escorting to exam room.
- Complete triage process and ensure all information is documented in EHR, Epic.
- Follow all state and federal regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Other duties will be assigned by management as needed.
