Medical Assistant (Orthopedics- Float)
About The Position
Wake Orthopedics, a multi-specialty orthopaedic group with multiple locations in Wake County, NC, is seeking a Medical Assistant to fill a full-time position in our Raleigh office location. This position will float in our Raleigh region (Garner, Raleigh and Oberlin). We offer a unique work environment promoting personal and professional growth. Our practices provide a full range of orthopaedic services including advanced diagnostic imaging, innovative treatment options, minimally invasive and traditional procedures, and rehabilitation services. Whether it be recovering from a broken bone, joint replacement surgery, a sports injury or a fracture – our goal is to get patients back to doing the things they love.
Requirements
- CMA or RMA within 12 months of hire.
- High school diploma required.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers in providing quality medical care.
- Meet and greet patients while escorting to exam room.
- Complete triage process and ensure all information is documented in EHR, Epic.
- Follow all state and federal regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Other duties will be assigned by management as needed.
