About The Position
The Medical Assistant functions in a support role to the Clinical Nurse Manager by providing direct patient care and related activities as assigned. As a medical assistant, one must be able to multi-task while at the same time focus on details of the proper identification of patients to ensure their safety, and label all specimens correctly in accordance with the hospital policy and procedures established by the laboratory. Supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of the institution.
