About The Position

Hopscotch Primary Care is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patients and providers in a collaborative, relationship-focused primary care clinic. The role helps create a personal, supportive patient experience through patient intake, clinical support, care coordination, and maintaining a clean and safe clinic environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no weekends or major holidays. Pay is $20–$24 per hour, based on experience and location, with quarterly bonus opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Relevant Medical Assistant clinical or externship experience.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Comfort using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience.
• Primary care experience.
• CMA/RMA certification.
• Experience in team-based care environments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients.
• Take vital signs and update medical histories.
• Support providers during patient visits.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory work.
• Administer vaccines and screenings within certification.
• Coordinate follow-up care, referrals, and diagnostics.
• Answer patient questions and provide phone support.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms.
• Support a clean, safe clinic environment.
