About The Position
Acute Care Clinics of America is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join its Jamestown team. This full-time role supports patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting alongside providers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with at least one Saturday per month required.
Requirements
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Up-to-date BLS certification.
- Willingness to learn motivational interviewing and teach-back techniques.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a busy medical office; new graduates are welcome.
- EMR experience.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Knowledge of e-MDs software.
- Ability to work as a team player and independently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care under provider supervision.
- Prepare and maintain clean, organized exam rooms and equipment.
- Support clinical procedures and complete medical documentation.
- Help manage patient flow and ensure timely communication.
- Greet patients warmly and maintain a professional, caring attitude.
- Respond effectively in emergencies.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and clinic procedures.
