About The Position

The Medical Assistant (MA) position is a full-time role, approximately 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will possess solid experience and advanced knowledge in medical assisting functions. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Medication Aide Certificate
• Current BCLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
• Solid computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certification preferred for MA.
• Multi-Physician Family Practice experience preferred.
• Electronic Medical / Health Records (EMR) experience a definite plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Provider team with one-on-one patient visits and flow in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare patient and all necessary instruments, equipment and paperwork for clinical visits.
• Assist with phlebotomy and administer immunizations.
• Perform vision and hearing exams.
• Schedule appointments.
• Document in electronic medical records and practice management system.
• These functions are not all inclusive
