About The Position
WakeMed is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patients and providers in an ambulatory care setting. The role provides direct patient care in an office setting and assists with patient care under the direction of a provider. The Medical Assistant works closely with providers and other healthcare professionals, supports the daily needs of patients and the care team, and helps create a positive, compassionate patient experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, or completion of an approved Medical Assistant program.
- Comfort working in an ambulatory care environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with providers and other healthcare professionals.
- Focus on providing quality, compassionate patient care.
