About The Position

CareATC is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Medical Assistant to support day-to-day clinical and operational functions in a Health Center. The role assists providers with patient care, performs clinical and administrative duties, and helps create a seamless experience from check-in through follow-up care. The ideal candidate is adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to exceptional patient service and high-quality care.

This is a full-time opportunity for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The position is based in a collaborative clinic environment focused on relationship-based care and quality outcomes rather than patient volume. Benefits are available to eligible employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Meet one of the following qualifications: completion of a formal Medical Assistant program with diploma or certificate and at least 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience; at least 3 years of recent Medical Assistant experience obtained through on-the-job training; or relevant military medic experience.
• Strong patient care, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinical environment.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients while creating a positive patient experience.
• Measure and document vital signs, patient history, and clinical information.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect blood and urine samples.
• Support front-office and administrative clinic functions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols and workflows.
• Deliver concierge-level customer service and compassionate patient care.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment within the scope of the role.
