Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
• Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred.
• Knowledge of third party payors preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKGs, etc.
• Maintain a smooth patient flow.
• Anticipate patient and provider needs.
• Wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
