About The Position
Full Time Medical Assistant needed for busy family practice clinic in Yukon.
Requirements
- Must be willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities while working well in a team environment and exhibiting a strong work ethic
- Applicant must be reliable, have excellent people skills and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- High School graduate or equivalent required (GED)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (Epic) a plus
Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Obtain vitals, initial reason for visit and documenting patients in EHR
- Administer injections and perform X-Rays
- Scan documentation into EHR while maintaining efficient patient flow throughout clinic
- Assist with triage calls, medication authorizations and other duties as assigned
