About The Position

Saint Luke's is offering a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program designed to provide the education, hands-on training, and support needed to become a successful Medical Assistant. Upon successful completion of the cohort, participants will transition into a full-time Medical Assistant position with Convenient Care South. This opportunity allows you to apply the skills learned during the program while becoming an integral part of a primary care team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Convenient Care provides extended access to patients and requires schedule flexibility. Clinic hours include early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday coverage. Team members are scheduled based on clinic needs and should expect to work a variety of shifts within the operating hours of the clinic. This is an intensive full-time training program. Attendance is mandatory Monday through Friday throughout the entire 10-week cohort. Participants must successfully complete all classroom, clinical, and clinic-based training requirements. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will transition directly into a full-time Medical Assistant position within Saint Luke's Physician Group at their assigned home clinic.

Requirements

Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross certification.

Responsibilities

Provide education, hands-on training, and support to become a successful Medical Assistant.
Transition into a full-time Medical Assistant position upon successful completion of the cohort.

Deliver exceptional patient care.
Complete all classroom, clinical, and clinic-based training requirements.
