About The Position

OrthoArizona is seeking talented Medical Assistants of all levels to join their team. They are the largest and most accomplished physician-owned orthopedic and musculoskeletal care group in Arizona, serving the Greater Phoenix community since 1994. This role offers opportunities for growth and impact across various locations. A $500 signing bonus is offered after a 90-day probation period. The position is full-time, located in Scottsdale (Pima), AZ, with a salary range of $18.00 - $30.00 per hour. Medical Assistants are expected to travel with physicians from clinic to clinic.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
Current CPR certification
At least one year of experience in a medical office
Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

1+ year using an EMR with ModMed / EMA experience preferred
Modernizing medicine EMA EMR experience

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.
Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.
Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.
Prepare injections, remove and apply splints and casts, and apply dressings.
Support physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and monitoring voicemail and phone calls.
