About The Position

Join a collaborative Neurosurgery and Spine practice where your clinical skills, attention to detail, and patient-first approach help create a smooth, supportive experience for every patient. As a Medical Assistant, you will play an important role in keeping the practice running efficiently while working closely with providers, patients, and families in a fast-paced specialty care setting. This role offers a predictable part-time schedule that combines consistent weekend hours with flexible weekday coverage. You will use your clinical and administrative skills to help patients feel prepared, supported, and cared for throughout their visit. Collaborate with experienced providers and care team members in a professional, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant Course or diploma program
  • A minimum of 1-year professional experience
  • National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT

Responsibilities

  • Support efficient patient flow throughout the practice.
  • Assist during office visits, including rooming patients and supporting examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed.
  • Perform clinically appropriate care coordination tasks, such as general patient guidance, test results, prescription refill support, and related follow-up needs.
  • Maintain neat, clean, organized, and safe patient care areas.
  • Interact with patients and families in a professional, friendly, and compassionate manner.
