Requirements

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical setting.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to outstanding patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a primary care or family medicine practice preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Document patient history and update electronic medical records (EMR).
• Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures.
• Administer injections, vaccines, and medications as directed.
• Perform EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection as needed.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Coordinate patient referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments.
• Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all clinical safety standards.
