About The Position

Provides primary nursing support to the physician and patient to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient’s condition. Provides support to business operations through an understanding of business functions.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification required
• Requires knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice
• Requires knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care
• Requires knowledge of medical equipment and instruments used to provide patient care
• Requires knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
• Requires skill to identify problems and recommend solutions
• Requires skill to prepare and maintain accurate records
• Requires skill to develop and maintain quality assurance
• Requires skill to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, office staff, and the public
