About The Position

Dayton Gastroenterology is hiring a Medical Assistant for its Beavercreek, Ohio location. This full-time position follows a Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM schedule, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. The role supports physicians and patients in a medical office. On-the-job training is provided, including for candidates who are new to the field.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Medical office or Medical Assistant experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs and update patient histories.
• Assist physicians during office visits.
• Coordinate prescriptions, referrals, and test results.
• Collect specimens and support patient care.
• Help schedule appointments, procedures, and testing.
