About The Position

This role is for a PRN Medical Assistant in a Primary Care setting. PRN employees are paid strictly for hours worked, and clinic closures are unpaid. To maintain active status, PRN employees must fulfill a minimum requirement of three (3) shifts per calendar month and meet seasonal holiday availability rules. The clinic is physically closed on all recognized company holidays, including observed days for holidays falling on a weekend. PRN employees will not be scheduled to work on these closures and are not eligible for holiday pay. Holiday closures do not lower the monthly requirement; PRN staff must proactively schedule their three (3) required shifts on the remaining open weekdays of that month. To ensure fair scheduling distribution during peak vacation seasons, all PRN employees must work at least one shift immediately preceding or following a recognized clinic closure in both the summer and winter seasons.

Requirements

• PRN (as needed) status.
• Must work three (3) shifts per calendar month.
• Must work at least one shift immediately preceding or following a summer holiday.
• Must work at least one shift immediately preceding or following a winter holiday.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill a minimum requirement of three (3) shifts per calendar month.
• Meet seasonal holiday availability rules, working at least one shift immediately preceding or following a recognized clinic closure in both the summer and winter seasons.
• Work the business day immediately before or immediately after one of the summer holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day).
• Work the business day immediately before or immediately after one of the winter holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day).
