About The Position
The Medical Assistant – Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) supports providers by coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Remote Patient Monitoring program. This position assists with patient enrollment, device setup and education, monitors transmitted physiologic data, documents patient interactions, and communicates clinically significant findings to the provider for appropriate intervention.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in remote patient monitoring.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with patient education.
