About The Position

EPIC Health is seeking a full-time, on-site Medical Assistant in Sunrise, Florida. The Medical Assistant is an essential member of the care team, supporting compassionate care for patients and their caregivers. The role involves welcoming patients, gathering and documenting clinical information, assisting with treatments and diagnostics, educating patients, coordinating follow-up care, and contributing to team and process-improvement efforts. Requirements

• Experience as a Medical Assistant, coursework in the field, or willingness to gain hands-on patient care experience.
• Previous phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and create a welcoming environment.
• Measure and record vital signs in the EHR.
• Document patient symptoms and medical history.
• Perform injections, vaccinations, and other treatments.
• Explain procedures to patients.
• Collect blood and urine samples.
• Schedule future appointments.
• Participate in process-improvement initiatives and support the team as needed.
