Medical Assistant - Ambulatory Surgery Center
About The Position
Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant for our dynamic Ambulatory Surgery Center at our Salmon Creek 2 location. In this role, you’ll support the overall delivery of patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit by assisting nursing staff with patient monitoring and post-op care, preparing and maintaining exam rooms and equipment, supporting the discharge process, and helping maintain safety and infection control standards. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential OR combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized certification OR completion of a formal MA program OR formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces OR EMT training and certification OR current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification.
- Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within timeframe and maintain active status throughout employment.
- Current healthcare provider BLS
- Experience with an electronic health record
