About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant for our dynamic Ambulatory Surgery Center at our Salmon Creek 2 location. In this role, you’ll support the overall delivery of patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit by assisting nursing staff with patient monitoring and post-op care, preparing and maintaining exam rooms and equipment, supporting the discharge process, and helping maintain safety and infection control standards. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Required completion of one of the following: current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential or combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification.
  • Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain active status throughout employment.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS required
  • Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred.
